Qvevri Don Alfio
Nerello Mascalese Blend
A blend of 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented without stems in qvevri. After fermentation, the qvevri was closed and allowed to macerate for 4 months. It is returned to qvevri after pressing to mature. Bottled unfiltered and unfined.
