Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC

100% Montepulciano

The Montepulciano grapes were grown on calcareous soil and clay from vineyards located in Central Italy, close to the Adriatic Sea, between Chieti and Casalbordino, in the Abruzzo region. After vinification was complete, the wine is left to maceration with the skins. Frequent pressings were conducted with fermentation at a controlled temperature of about 25-28° C. Malolactic fermentation resumes in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then left to age for another 4 months in bottle before release.
