Chablis 1er Cru Montmain


100% Chardonnay

Grapes for the Montmain were planted on Kimmeridgien clay. Grapes were machine harvested and were funnelled straght into pneumatic presses. The juices were left to settle for 12 hours before being transferred to stainless steel tanks. Fermentation takes place in a temperature controlled environment and then aged in oak barrels (20% new oak).
